Covid-19 FAQ's

Q "Are you open?"

At the moment, unfortunately not. Due to the current government guidelines we are not allowed to open. We are following all government guidance and will be open as soon as it's safe for us to do so. If you wish to support us while we're closed then please check out our streaming platform www.jamincinema.com

Q "Will I get a refund if the film is cancelled because of Covid?"

If we cancel a film then we'll happily refund your tickets. If you choose not to come but the film still goes ahead then unfortunately we would not be able to offer you a refund. If you can't attend because you're self-isolating then we'd be happy to offer you a credit note. We would however ask that you let us know in advance of the showing, it makes it easier for us to organise this for you.

Q "Where can I book tickets?"

The best place to buy tickets is online. Once we're open again we'd still recommend online booking but if you'd prefer to pop in and book your tickets at the box office then we'd be happy to help.

Q "Can we purchase food and drink during our visit?"

We hope so! We're awaiting government guidance on how we'll be allowed to operate when we reopen. When we opened in summer 2020 we were able to sell food and drinks and we hope to be able to do the same when we reopen.

Q "Do I need to wear a face covering?"

Yes, please. Current government guidelines state that face coverings must be worn throughout your visit. Once you are seated inside the screen you can remove your face covering whilst eating or drinking.

Q "Can I come to the Jam Jar with people from outside of my household/support bubble?"

Please follow the latest government guidelines and respect social distancing measures within the cinema.
